Kelsi entered the MTC today (January 8, 2014) in Provo, Utah.
It was a snowy day, so we sang "Since I'm going to Me-xi-co, Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!"
Here you see her pointing to her mission in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Mexico, which is the southernmost mission in Mexico, and right across the border from Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, where Linette served her mission.
The nice missionary at the front gate said we had two minutes to say good-bye. After hugs and tears, here she goes with a kind sister missionary to guide her. (Kelsi is the one who isn't quite as tall as everyone else. :)
Be sure to look at the first post to see how to send stuff to Kelsi.
As we drove away, there were missionaries directing traffic, along with a couple of people with vests that said "Police".
"Police?" I asked. "What are they here for?"
Jared said, "In case you take more than 2 minutes!"
